As flames occult our primary source of illumination, TERJE's tech-noir inspired single ON FIRE clings to breaths of hope amidst ingested cityscapes and feverish smog. It is also reminiscent of his days as a UN peacekeeping soldier in the early 80s, when the apocalyptic sci-fi genre was yet a bad omen of today's heated reality. It's been a while since I decided to work on a new album. My priority has been about enjoying the process best way possible. The music business has changed so much, since the release of the first and second ON THE RISE album through Frontiers Records s.r.l. Especially when it comes to physical products of the music versus digital uploads on the net. Spotify, iTunes and so on...but anyway I'm gonna proceed and complete the new album for sure, and hopefully the response will inspire me to write and make more albums in the future.

Thanks to Blink Film for giving Terje Eide the opportunity to be a part of TV series BERLIN STATION and SHETLAND. 

First picture is of Richard Jenkins and Terje Eide at the film set of TV-series Berlin Station. Richard is a brilliant actor in movies like Jack Reacher, Kong: Skull Island, White House Down, Me, Myself and Irene, Absolute Power, Sea of Love and many more... 

Second picture is of Leland Orser and Terje Eide. Leland has been a part of many movies and series like Taken, Taken 2, Taken 3, Alien Resurrection, Saving Private Ryan, Independence day, Seven, Cheers, L.A. Law, The X-Files, NYPD Blue, Law and Order: SVU and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. 

Third picture is of Scott William Winters and Terje Eide. You can see Scott in movies and series like Good Will Hunting, TV series Blue Bloods, Leather Weapon (2016 TV series), NYPD Blue, CSI Miami, Dexter, CSI: Crime Scene, 24 (2001 series), Law & Order as well. Just to name a few.

A new location/filmset. This time Terje Eide is an extra for the TV series SHETLAND. Filming scenes for season 3 and season 4 in Bergen. Great crew and atmosphere on set. 

Shetland is a BBC Scotland crime drama television series starring Douglas Henshall as Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez. The story takes place largely on the Scottish archipelago of Shetland though much of the filming is done on the Scottish mainland, with some on location in Shetland. It is largely based on the novels by Ann Cleeves. Three series have aired and a fourth series has also started filming. Star Douglas Henshall won the 2016 BAFTA award for best television actor and the show (made by ITV for BBC One) received the award for best TV drama.

It was nice to be a part of the movie MORTAL. Amazing weather. It became quite hot in the police uniform. Soaked with sweat. Not so easy to make a movie when it's done on a bridge where there's a lot of traffic. But it went very well. (Location: Osa in Ulvik and Hardangerbua).

Cool hang. Good chemistry. A great experience! This must be repeated! No doubt about it! 

André Øvredal is a director and writer, known for Trollhunter (2010), The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) og Tunnelen (2016).

Thanks to the representatives of The Norwegian Defense Department for making this a memorable evening! Never thought I would be standing in front of everybody, amongst them veterans from World War II, to give a lecture about my story in the UN-Force...spontaneous as it was, it worked out fine. Thanks for The Norwegian Defense Medal for International Operations (INTOPS MEDAL). Very much appreciated. Peace & Love, TERJE

TOTO - 3 shows with spontaneous creative changes and musicality. Steve Lukather - the man has inspired generations with his guitar playing. The whole band with its music. You can hear and it's obvious when Luke is playing and singing. He's got his own signature in songwriting as well. Whether you go to a concert with TOTO or enjoying a solo tour with Luke, you know they or he will deliver something special. Even for that specific gig. Live music is the best! I've seen TOTO a few times, but never 3 shows during the same tour. And still I wish to continue to enjoy this band. Why? It's obvious isn't it. I like the band and the music. But most of all because of their musicianship and what they give the audience every night. It makes it even more special to have Steve Lukather as a friend. He is the most generous guy I've ever met. Not because he is Steve Lukather, but because he is pretty unique and genuine as a person. A very respectful, caring and loving guy. Big hearted. Everyone in the band is great. Thanks to Luke and the band TOTO for their colourful, inspirational and musical highlights this summer! For coming to Bergen to share their great music with us all! Very much appreciated!!
